Report: Gazprom Neft, OMV, Petronas present Iran field devt plans
MOSCOW, Dec 26 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Gazprom Neft, Austria’s OMV, and Malaysia’s Petronas have presented their plans for development of the Cheshmeh Khosh oil field in Iran, local news agency Shana reported on Tuesday.
The plans were studied at a meeting of the committee of councilors of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). Suggestions presented by Gazprom Neft and OMV are aimed at defining the field’s production plateau, while those by Petronas are aimed at expanding the field’s production potential, Shana reported.
In December 2016, Gazprom Neft and NIOC signed a memorandum of cooperation, which envisages participation of the Russian company in development of two oil and gas fields Changouleh and Cheshmeh Khosh.
